Let's Talk About Sex

Chances are, you don't know what you're talking about.
I stole this picture from BET.
The amount of sex you have is not an indication of maturity. In fact, from my observation, the ones who talk about sex the most are the ones who know the least about preserving their health; don't be one of them.

Quick facts

  • Pulling out doesn't work 20% of the time.
  • There's no such thing as a loose vagina as a result of sex.
  • No sex position will prevent pregnancy.
  • The average penis size when erect is 5.6 inches. You ain't gotta lie, Craig.
  • You can get pregnant the first time you have sex.
  • You can get pregnant if you're on your period.
  • CONDOMS ARE NOT REUSABLE.

STDs/STIs

If you have sex raw, don't be mad when you contract an STD. Get tested often and stress the importance of your partner(s) getting tested too.  Also, not knowing your status will not protect you if you already got the cooties. You owe it to yourself to be protected against the person you're sleeping with. I know some people may think I'm being paranoid, but you really can't trust anyone when it comes to your health.

Pregnancy

I don't understand how there are still unplanned pregnancies. There's condoms, various forms of oral contraception, and Plan B if you're gonna go at it unprotected. If you can't afford an abortion, you shouldn't be having unprotected sex. If you can't afford Plan B, you shouldn't be having unprotected sex. If you can't afford condoms, you most definitely need to reevaluate your life.

Starting a family

Ladies, the only way to guarantee that you'll have a partner during the whole thing is to get married.

Let's be honest, if you're 17-25, you probably can't afford to get a ring, a marriage license, or a place to live, not to mention all of the things a baby would need.

"But babies are a blessing!" A blessing for who? Your life as you know it is over. You have no job, no car, and can barely afford room and board. Take responsibility for your actions before it's too late.

Why are you having sex, anyway?

Are you trying to impress her? Are you trying to suck him in? You'd better quit being so desperate for attention! This isn't high school. You won't get any respect for having sex when you don't want to, or for going about it the wrong way.
