America's Coolest (and Cutest) First Couple

I don't even have anything to say; I just think they're adorable.

The two were married on Oct. 3, 1992, at Trinity United Church in Chicago.
"He asked me, 'Well, what are we going to do on Saturday?' And I go, 'What's Saturday?' And it was our anniversary -- I forgot." - Michelle
"But the point is we want them to grow up with a strong sense of self. We want them to feel that they're being judged on their smarts and their competitiveness and their compassion, and not just, you know, looking cute." - Barack
"I think Michelle is like a lot of women of her generation in that she has carried within herself two very powerful ideas: one, that she's as smart as any man and can be as successful as any man in whatever she chooses. On the other hand, she loves being a mother." - Barack
"And I love that even in the toughest moments, when we're all sweating it - when we're worried that the bill won't pass, and it seems like all is lost - Barack never lets himself get distracted by the chatter and the noise. Just like his grandmother, he just keeps getting up and moving forward... with patience and wisdom, and courage and grace." - Michelle
"So Barack and I spend most weekends staring at each other because somebody’s at a basketball game, somebody’s at a dance, somebody’s sleeping over." - Michelle
"Michelle's very comfortable in her own skin. And I like that skin, of course...She's my closest friend and my most important adviser." - Barack
"Michelle went to public schools; her favorite show is The Dick Van Dyke Show; her favorite food is french fries; she shops at Target. She's just a wonderfully normal, levelheaded person." - Barack
Interviewer: "What three words would you each use to describe the other?"
Barack: "Beautiful, smart and funny."
Interviewer: "What three words would you each use to describe the other?"
Michelle: "Smart, sportsman, and father."
"On our first date, I treated her to the finest ice cream Baskin-Robbins had to offer, our dinner table doubling as the curb. I kissed her, and it tasted like chocolate." - Barack
"The journey that we've taken together, the fun we've had, the challenges we've faced, the two beautiful children that we're raising -- I kind of give him a pass now when he leaves his socks on the floor or tells that story for the one hundredth time and wants us to laugh at it as if we first heard it." - Michelle
What are their plans for the future? Michelle gave the answer: "I look forward to getting in a car and rolling down the window and just letting the air hit my face. I mean I haven’t been in a car with the windows open in about seven years if you can imagine that. So I’m gonna spend that first year just hanging out the window."
What will I be doing? Probably crying in a corner somewhere. Why? Because nobody else that moves into the White House will be as awesome as them, that's why.
